I started Rene's Scented Spark at 55 — in the middle of a really hard chapter. My kids were grown and living their own lives, I was working a job I dreaded, and most days I felt like I was just going through the motions. I remember thinking, is this really it for me?

Candle making started as something small — just a way to create, to feel like myself again. What began as a creative outlet turned into something I never expected: a business, a purpose, and a reminder that it's never too late to start over.

Every candle I hand-pour in Clearwater, FL carries a little of that story — comfort, warmth, and the belief that beginnings don't have an age limit.
